BBIS Admission

Admissions

Admission to the BBIS program is based on academic promise of applicants as indicated by their academic records, statement of objectives, recommendations, scores on entrance test and performance in the personal interview. Applicants are tested for their aptitude to management study through a written Entrance Test administered by the school. The test is designed to assess the applicants’ ability in verbal and quantitative reasoning, data interpretation and proficiency in English language.Nepali and non Nepali nationals with Plus two degrees or intermediate or equivalent level study program of at least two-years' duration in any discipline with minimum of 50 percent in aggregate or CGPA of 2.0 on the scale of 4.0 and minimum 'C' grade in each subject from a university/board recognized by Kathmandu University. GCE advanced Level student should have passed minimum three subjects in A Level and one general paper in AS Level with marks/grades requirements as mentioned above. These criteria may change as per the school's decision during admission time. University Application Forms can be obtained any time in the year from the School of Management. 

Basic Program Requirements

The maximum time allowed to complete the BBIS degree is seven year from the date of admission into the program. 

Expenses (Fee Structure)

The total expenses of the entire BBIS program is 

Rs.8,50,000*.

Students are required to deposit Rs.10000 as caution money.

Financial Assistance

With a view to support needy and deserving students, the school provides financial assistance in form of tuition fee waiver. Students seeking such financial assistance must be accepted for admission into the BBIS program of the school. NetworkThe school is Life Member of Association of Management Development Institute in South Asia (AMDISA) and the founder member of Association of Management Development Institute in Nepal (AMDIN). Sample Question 

Applicant who submit the form mannuly should visit KUSOM/ KU,Dhulikhel/ LACM/ NCM with the following documents.

  1. Grade 10 Mark sheet.
  2. Grade 11 Mark sheet.
  3. Grade 12 Mark sheet.
  4. Admit card of Grade 12 (only for result waiting appicants)
  5. Bank Voucher ( Bank Details: Nepal Investment Bank Ltd., Account Name: KU-School of Management, Account No: 00501030255554, Branch: Banepa)
  6. Admission processing fee Rs. 1500/- (not refundable) 

Applicants should submit original bank voucher to KUSOM administration while collecting admit card. (applicabel only to online submission)
