Program Overview
Master of Public Policy and Management (MPPM) is an innovative academic and professional program that deals with a wide range of public policy and public affairs issues to broaden public policy perspectives and strengthen management skills in the public sector.
The MPPM is designed for young and mid-career professionals currently working or seeking careers in public service, the private sector, non-profit organizations, and development institutions. The program provides an opportunity to move beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries and understand complex public policy and governance issues through a multidisciplinary approach.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet any one of the following requirements:
- Nepali or non-Nepali nationals with at least three years of work experience and a Bachelor's Degree of at least two-year duration in any discipline with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks or CGPA 2.0 on a 4-point scale.
- A Master's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks or CGPA 2.0 on a 4-point scale from a university recognized by Kathmandu University.
- At least six years of work experience and a Bachelor's Degree of at least two-year duration in any discipline with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks or CGPA 2.0 on a 4-point scale.
