PhD Curriculum

• Course works to be completed in the first year of PhD study are:

1^st Semester:

Advanced qualitative research methods (2 credit);

Advanced quantitative research methods (2 credit);

Academic writing (2 credit);

2^nd Semester:

Advanced seminar in specialization area (2 credit).

 

Following three specialization areas are available in PhD program:

1. Finance
2. General Management
3. Marketing.

• Advanced seminar in the specialization area comprises 4 well researched literature review based seminar presentations pertaining to areas of research inquiry of the candidate.  The seminar is designed to help a candidate in developing a solid research proposal at later stage. The four topics of advanced seminar are to be decided by the principal advisor and presented to the faculty and PhD scholars.
